JCVD
One of the most unique, unexpected films to come out. Jean-Claude Van Damme plays (himself?) a washed up action star with tax problems, no money, embroiled in a custody battle. At a post office to make a wire transfer, he stumbles into a heist and is taken hostage. But he is not the character in his films, just an ordinary guy with all his flaws on display.
The Last Word
It shouldn't be a surprise Wes Bentley from American Beauty stars, this film is from the man who actually shot the plastic bag video footage from that film that is such a revelation to Bentley's character. Here, He plays a professional suicide letter writer who falls in love with the sister of one of his 'successful' clients at his funeral. Things......get complicated.
