This is a new film by Canadian director Atom Egoyan, who made Where the truth lies, The Sweet Hereafter, Ararat and many others. It centers on a french high school student who uses modern technology to present a "true" story that weaves his personal family history with a terrorist act.

Medicine for Melancholy
Somewhat known for The Daily Show's Wyatt Cenac being the principle lead, this very well spoken of film revolves around two African-American twenty somethings in San Francisco.
Monsoon Wedding
Criterion puts the deluxe treatment on this Mira Nair film. Always interesting to see what 'newer' films criterion decides to put out (2001 even).
