In return for free rentals the week you volunteer from our 7,000 movie stock (sadly, no new releases, sorry), volunteers work one 4-5 hour shift. Volunteers have to be able to handle the job, work well with others, and not steal our sodas.We've also been known to provide references for volunteers in the future. It's usually a painless gig, as long as people keep in mind they volunteered for it, and can handle the inevitability of mistakes. Volunteers typically come in and train for a few hours over 2-3 weeks, then we try you out. We do not allow all applicants to volunteer. Volunteering is not for everyone, trust us. People either last 2 weeks or stay on for the long haul. They are a backbone for the store, and for those we come to trust, indispensable.
